FUMC strives to teach children what is God’s spirit in the world and how do they show that in their lives. We are a Progressive Christian Community that shows God’s love through loving others, service and acceptance. We believe God’s spirit of love is in all people and we celebrate that with our children!

New this year is our Tween Talk class!! 5th-7th grade will be in a SUPER FUN Sunday morning class together and will be invited to many events during the year! Come and invite a friend to this new class.

We will have wonderful M&M’s events this year and K-7th grade are invited to attend! M&Ms has parties, field trips and outings once a month all year long. This fun group has Meaningful Moments of learning, loving and laughing while getting FUMC kids connected with God and each other!

FUMC Sunday School has 3 different age level classes with WIGGLE @ FIRST 1st gr and down in Rm 11&12, FIRST FUN 2nd-4th Grade in Rm 18 and TWEEN TALK 5th- 7th Grade in Rm 6! We are planning fun activities for these groups so come Sundays to get to know each other and discuss how to live and serve in Christian community! Nursery is open every Sunday from 9:30 am- 12:30 pm with loving attendants who would love to get to know you and your child!

Parents of Young Children Class is held Sunday Mornings 11:15- 12:15 in rooms 13 and 14, right next to our Sunday School classes.

Music for children this year will be shared in services 3 times. The first will be in October for Children’s Sabbath. We will sing and play bells! We will also have a special Christmas Eve service for families at 4pm and we will do a musical play on Mother’s Day.
